Grandparents

Our grandparents have been down since last Friday. We have done quit a few things. The first night they were here we got early Christmas presents! From our great-grandma. All of us girls got purses and $25 each!! Hope got some baby animal books, Lily got a math color board, Abi got something ( I can not remember), Faith got a bear movie, And I got a movie about a little girl named Emily. The next day, Saturday, we just hung out. Sunday we had church in our new building!!! YAY!! After church we went to Casa Ramos!! Sooo good! Monday we went and spent some of our money at Michael's. I got 3 skeins of yarn.On Tuesday my grandfather went shooting, and my grandmother went to horse back riding with us, then went home and rested. Wensday My grandmother spent time with my Uncle Paul. Thursday we did a thank you craft for my great-grandmother. And today is Friday, My Mother, Grandmother, and Faith, went to thrift stores. That has been my week.

Soup and Scones!

Tonight I made chicken noodle soup. Soo good. Then Faith made scones. Also soo good. Next we did family worship. For family worship we are reading through 1st Samuel. Tomorrow we are going to the library! Super fun! I absolutely LOVE the library. Sooo many books. :~)

Toenails.

So I have a ingrown toenails. Which leads to a lot of pain. Yesterday my grandmother called and said at 1:30 she was going to pick me up and take me to an appointment. My grandmother and I thought this was just an appointment for the Doctor to look at my toes. But he ended up cutting out the ingrown toenail. Witch happens to be on both of my toes, on both sides. He froze my toes and that HURT! Then he gave me a numbing shot in my toes. Of course I couldn't see anything because I was leaned back. After that I went to my grandmas to recover, and spend the night. In about 2 months we will go back to the Doctor and he will kill the root. But he couldn't yesterday because to much work on infected toes will make them even more infected. Buy my toes feel a lot better. Tomorrow we will go to the library and then to choir. So lots of fun this week.

Visit!

Last night we had a surprise visit from some good friends. We had potluck dinner last night, then Bible study. Our friends stayed the night,lots of fun! This morning I awoke to a baby crying, which hasn't happened for quit a few years. My Dad and I went and got hot chocolate and doughnuts! Then the rest of the day we have been siting in the couch watching a movie and chatting.

The day.

Today I milked the goat!! Shocker for those of you who know me well. What happened is that all the girls except Abi, and myself went to Grandmas house. And Faith and Abi usual milk the goat themselves. So I had to do it for faith. And boy douse it hurt when a 100 pound goat steps on your bare feet! After Abi and I milked the goat, We went to a used book store with Mom. I got The Old Curiosity Shop. By Charles Dickens. Abi got a little dragon book, And Mom got The Bleak House by Charles Dickens. Know I'm blogging and then going to go read.
