Hymns and quotes.

Quotes.

"Those who are saved are saved by election, by grace, by the
will of God, not by their own. Our own election, will, and work,
are of no avail: The election of God alone is profitable. When we
are converted it is not our conversion that makes us the elect of
God, but the grace, will, and election of God which converts us."

Hymns:

There is a fountain filled with blood

There is a fountain filled with blood, Drawn from Immanuel's veins;
And sinners plunged beneath that flood, Lose all there guilty stains:
Lose all there guilty stains, Lose all there guilty; And sinners
plunged beneath that flood, lose all there guilty stains.

The dying thief rejoiced to see that fountain in his day;
And there have I, as vile as he, Washed all my sin's away:
Washed all my sin's away, Washed all my sin's away;
And there have I, as vile as he, Washed all my sin's away.

E'er since my faith I saw the stream thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme, and shall be till I die:
And shall be till I die, and shall be till I die;
Redeeming love has been my theme and shall be till I die.

Deer dying Lamb, thy precious blood shall never lose it's power,
Till all the ransomed church of God, Be saved to sin no more;
Be saved to sin no more, be saved to sin no more;
Till all the ransomed church of God be saved to sin no more.

O for a thousand tongues to sing

O for a thousand tongues to sing my great redeemers praise,
the glories of my God and King the triumphs of his grace.

My gracious master and my God, Assist me to proclaim,
To spread threw all the earth abroad, The honers of thy name.

Jesus, the name that charms our fears, That bids our sorrows cease,
Tis music in the sinner's ears, Tis life and health, and peace.

He brakes the power of reigning sin, He sets the prisoner free,
His blood can make the foulest clean, His blood availed for me.

He speaks and, listening to his voice, new life the dead receive,
The mournful, broken hearts rejoice, the humble poor believe

On Christ the solid rock I stand

My hope is built nothing less, then Jesus and righteousness,
I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus name,

On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground sinking sand.
All other ground is sinking sand

When darkness veils his lovely face, I rest upon unchanging grace,
In every rough and stormy gale, My anchor holds within the veil.

On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand
All other ground is sinking sand.

His oath his covenant, his blood support me in the whelming flood,
When all around my soul gives way, He then is all my hope and stay.

On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.

When I shall launch in worlds unseen, O may I then be found in him,
Dressed in his righteousness alone, Faultless to stand before the throne.

On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.

This is my Fathers world

This is my Fathers world, And to my listening ears,
All nature sings and round me rings, The music of the spheres

This is my Fathers: I rest me in the thought,
Of rocks and trees and sky's and seas, His hand the wonders wrought.

This is my Fathers world, The birds their carols raise,
The morning light the lily white, Declares there makers praise.

This is my Fathers world: He shines in all that's fair,
In rustling grass, I here him pass, He speaks to me everywhere.

This is my Fathers world, O let me never forget,
That the wrong seems oft so strong, God id the Ruler yet.

This is my Fathers world: The battle is not done
Jesus who died shall be satisfied, And earth and heaven be one.

Come thou fount

Come thou fount of every blessing, tune my heart to sing thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing, Call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet, sung by flaming tongues above;
Praise the mount i'm! fixed upon it, mount of Gods unchanging love.

Here I raise my Ebenezer, hither by thy help I come;
And I hope by thy good pleasure, safely to arrive at home.
Jesus sought me as a stranger, wandering from the fold of God:
He to rescue me from danger, interposed his precious blood.

O to grace how grate a debtor daily i'm constrained to be;
Let thy grace now like a fetter, bind my wondering heart to thee.
Prone to wander Lord I feel it, prone to leave the God I love;
Here's my heart, O take and seal it, seal it for thy courts above.

The Lord is my shepherd

The Lord is my shepherd, I'll not want; He makes me down to lie
In pastures green; He leadeth me the quit waters by.

My soul he doth restore again; And me to walk doth make
Within the paths of righteousness, Even for his own name sake.

Yea, though I walk in deaths dark vale, Yet will I fear none ill,
For thou art with me; and thy rod and staff comfort still.

My table thou hast furnished in presence of my foes;
My head thou dost with oil anoint, and my cup over flows.

Goodness and mercy all my life, shall surely follow me:
And in God's house for ever-more my dwelling place shall be.

Jesus love's me

Jesus love's me, this I know, For the Bible tell's me so;
Little one's to him belong, they are weak, but he is strong.

Yes Jesus loves me, yes Jesus love's me
Yes Jesus love's me! The Bible tells me so

Jesus love's me, he who died, Heavens gates to open wide;
He will wash away my sin, Let hi little child come in.

Yes Jesus love's me, yes Jesus love's me
Yes Jesus love's me! The Bible tells me so.

Jesus love's me, Loves me still, Though i'm very weak and ill;
From his shining home on high comes to watch me where I lie.

Yes Jesus loves me, Yes Jesus loves me,
Yes Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so.

Jesus loves me, he will stay, close beside me all the way;
If I love him when I die He will take me home on high.

Yes Jesus loves me, Yes Jesus loves me
Yes Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so.

What a friend we have in Jesus

What a friend we have in Jesus, All our sin's and grief's to bear!
What a privilege to carry, everything to the Lord in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit, O what needles pain we bear,
All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.

Have we trials and temptation's? Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged, Take it to the Lord in prayer!
Can we find a friend so faithful, who with all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness take it to the Lord in prayer!

Are we weak and heavily laden, cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge take it to the Lord in prayer!
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee? Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In his arms he'll take and shield thee. Thou wilt find a solace there.

Up from the grave he arose

Low in the grave he lay, Jesus my savior, Waiting the coming day Jesus my Lord.

Up from the grave he arose, With a mighty triumph over his foe's
He arose a victor from the dark domain, and He lives forever with his saint's to reign
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!

Vainly they watch his bed, Jesus my Savior, Vainly they seal the dead, Jesus my Lord.

Up from the grave he arose, With a mighty triumph over his foe's
He arose a victor from the dark domain, and he lives forever with his saint's to reign
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah Christ arose!

Death can not keep his prey, Jesus my savior, He tore the bars away, Jesus my Lord.

Up from the grave he arose. With a mighty triumph over his foe's
He arose a victor from the dark domain, and he lives forever with his saint's to reign
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah Christ arose!

Jesus paid it all

I here the Savior say, Thy strength indeed is small,
Child of weakness, watch and pray, Find in me thine all in all.

Jesus paid it all, All to him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.

Lord now indeed I find thy power and thin alone,
can change the lepers spot's, and melt the heart of stone.

Jesus paid it all, all to him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white a snow

For nothing good have I, Where by thy grace to claim
I'll wash my garment's white In the blood of Calvary's lamb.

Jesus paid it all, all to him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.

And when before the throne, I stand in him complete,
Jesus died my soul to save, my lip's shall still repeat.

Jesus paid it all, all to him I owe,
Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.

What can wash away my sin

What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus,
What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus,

O precious is the flow, that makes me white as snow
No other fount I know, Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

For my cleansing this I see, Nothing but the blood of Jesus
For my pardon this I plea, Nothing but the blood of Jesus

O precious is the flow , that makes me white as snow.
No other fount I know, Nothing but the blood of Jesus

Nothing can for sin atone, Nothing but the blood of Jesus
Naught of good that I have done, Nothing but the blood of Jesus

O precious is the flow that makes me white as snow,
No other fount I know, Nothing but the blood of Jesus

This is all my hope and peace, Nothing but the blood of Jesus
This is all my righteousness, Nothing but the blood of Jesus

O precious is the flow, that makes me white as snow,
No other fount I know, Nothing but the blood of Jesus

Now by this I'll overcome, Nothing but the blood of Jesus
Now by this I'll reach my home, Nothing but the blood of Jesus

O precious is the, flow that makes me white as snow,
No other fount I know, Nothing but the blood of Jesus
